i've been covering running for over 10 years. the first event i photographed was The Penn Relays in 2012. shortly after i covered my first US Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR.
I started out with my iPhone and moved up to a camera that my barber was selling for $300. never in my wildest imagination would I have thought I would be able to travel around the world photographing every world marathon major and be at some of the most iconic stadiums covering a sport thats been in my life for over 20 years.
A product of COVID-19, I co-founded Long Distance with my really good friend. Long Distance began as a collection of stories and photographs told and taken during the pandemic.
Today, the brand operates both as an independent publishing company and a creative/strategic agency helping brands, writers, photographers, and runners tell their stories.
We have developed a rich and diverse audience within the running community using our relationships with elite athletes, community organizers, and award-winning photographers and filmmakers to solidify ourselves as one of the key players in global running culture.
Through community, programming, and merchandise, Long Distance has provided compelling experiences and materials with natural and authentic influence and engagement.
Long Distance provides access to:
Photography - Videography - Activations - Art Direction - Publishing - Creative Direction - Brand Strategy - Design - Digital Content - Copywriting - Public Relations - Gallery Curation - Pop Up Experiences - Merchandise - Media
i’ve been privileged to represent the U.S. media in 4 world championships. these are some of my favorite photos from Budapest 2023 , Oregon 2022 , Doha 2019, and Valencia 2018.
In 2018 i had the opportunity to cover the US Open. I also had a special assignment to shoot Rafael Nadal for Nike Sports Research Lab to introduce Nike's zip up cooling vest.

the summer of 2021 i was able to accomplish one of the biggest goals i set for myself when I realized the possibilities of where photography can take me.
i was there for the 2nd week of the games and was covering track and field. i needed to get the nerves out and was able to score some tickets to cover gymnastics.
i also was able to cover the gold medal match between brazil and spain. that was also my first time ever covering a soccer match and learned so much, like coming to the match with a monopod.
can’t wait to cover my second games this summer in paris.
In 2018 I had the privilege to be part of my first nike global campaign. I spent a week in Eldoret, Kenya, where I helped to tell Eliud Kipchoge's story as he was training for the London marathon after completing his breaking 2 challenge in Monza. The story was focused around the Nike Vaporfly Elite Flyprint and Peg Turbo.
Spent a weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia with the Camp4 Collective crew to capture the visual story of Prolyfyc Run Crew for Brooks Running.
I was part of a global campaign for Nike Project Fearless featuring the new Nike Invincible. I worked with the local NYC community teams Old Man Run Club (OMRC) and Boogie Down Bronx Runners.
was tapped in to shoot Brady Brand's inaugural running campaign in Los Angeles and in New York. Highlighting members of the running community in their respective cities.
this section means the most to me. In 2017, after finishing my first NYC marathon the year prior, I ran with my first run crew - not to be confused with a run club. I had no idea how this sub-culture would change the trajectory of my life.
The global running community would share my work captured at marathons which led to opportunities to shoot for major brands.
From the beginning, I made a promise to myself to not only focus on the elites but the communities that create the culture of the sport. If not for them, I wouldn't be putting together this website — a collection of my work throughout the years together.
10 athletes provided an opportunity for female-specific research, product innovations and world records.
I was a crew captain for Kayla Jeter’s team - these are a collection of moments through my lens from the 6 day feat.
I spent a season shooting the NY Mets for SNY TV. my assignments were to shoot in-game action and send over edited photos every 3rd, 6th, 7th and 9th innings for use in the live telecast.
I got an awesome opportunity to shoot for Uber Eats down at South by Southwest. A highlight of the project was shooting McDonalds French fries, all jokes aside! from what I was told, not just anyone can shoot their food for commercial use, you have to be vetted, which I thought was pretty cool!
